Will & Kelly
4.19.2025
Our Story
Our story began in May 2018 while we were working summer internships in Atlanta. Independently, we were convinced by our college friends to download a dating app to test our romantic luck online. There, we matched, chatted, and met in person shortly afterwards. One date turned into several, and months later, we professed our love for each other.
Despite being separated by a 1.5 hour drive, we continued seeing each other while we finished up our degrees and transitioned into the Atlanta workforce. Will moved into Kelly’s 650 sq. foot condo at the end of 2019, only a few short months before the world shut down due to a major pandemic. However, circumstances outside of our control did not deter us from enjoying each other’s company in tight quarters. We gamed, read, picked up old hobbies, and order a lot of delivery!
Since living in tiny studio was getting old, we upgraded to a 2 bedroom condo in April 2021, where we still live today! After a couple more years passed in the same home and jobs, Will started working with Kelly’s friends for a small surprise in the Atlanta History Center gardens…
On a hot August day in 2023, Kelly was walking in the AHC’s rhododendron garden with her book club friends when Will appeared on a bridge and escorted her to a romantic seat in the shade – where he proposed and Kelly said “Yes!”
On April 19th, 2025, we will be celebrating in another history center on the east side of town, the DeKalb History Center! We truly appreciate all of your love and support over the last six years and are so grateful to give you all an evening of fun, food, dancing, and drinks - which hopefully none of us will ever forget.
